¡Hola!

Me llamo Sr. Casey, I am new to the Cedarburg School District and thrilled to be part of a community with a reputation for excellence! I previously taught middle school and high school in Mukwonago, WI, where I also taught levels 1 and 2. I have also taught Spanish as long term sub in various districts working with kindergarteners to seniors! I am a recent graduate of Marquette University where I majored in Spanish and Secondary Education. I also studied at La Universidad Complutense de Madrid in Spain during the spring of 2012. In my free time I enjoy cooking, cycling, hiking, being a couch potato, geocaching, and concerts. As a transplant from Illinois, I root for the Cubs, Bulls, Blackhawks, BUT NOT THE BEARS- Gooooo Pack!!!! If you're wondering why I'm all Chicago minus the NFL, let's just say I'v never been a Jay Cutler fan...

My hope is to work with both students and parents to ensure success and to foster an enduring passion for language and culture through culturally relevant instruction and by utilizing technology in order to put resources and academic opportunities at the student's (and parent's) fingertips.
